LAKEVIEW, Los Angeles County — A state transportation accounting report includes a completed 4.2-mile road-preservation project within the unincorporated Lakeview community in the south Antelope Valley.
In its fiscal 2024–25 expenditures record, the California Transportation Commission lists the project as “South Antelope Valley–Lago Lindo Road, et al.” under Los Angeles County’s road maintenance and rehabilitation program. The description includes pavement preparation, micro-milling, scrub sealing and slurry sealing to extend surface life and improve ride quality.
The report records approximately $1.09 million in cumulative road-program spending and identifies the construction component as completed, with a December 31, 2024 completion date in the project entry.
How to check today’s street conditions
Historical spending does not mean every roadway is in perfect shape in November 2026. For potholes, drainage problems or faded markings, Lakeview residents should report a specific location to LA County Public Works and verify that it is a county-maintained road rather than a private drive.
